The village of Mandrem is located in the Pernem taluka which is the northernmost taluka of Goa. It is well known for the Mandrem beach in Goa that is situated to the north of Ashwem Beach towards the Arambol beach.

Mandrem is surrounded with the villages of Parcem, Arambol, Chopdem, and Morjim. There is a church in Mandrem known as the Our Lady of Rosary church. The school situated here is also known as Our Lady of Rosary School. Other schools such as Ramakant D Khalab High School, Govt. Primary School etc are also located here.

For accommodation there are some hut camps and hotels all around Mandrem. However most of the accommodation is at an area called Junasa Waddo that has a number of guest houses.

One can even find a market area known as Madlamaz-Mandrem nearby where you get some nice food and drink. People usually walk or hire scooters to get to this place.
